Objective: To study the relationship between biomechanical variables and the smashing skills of badminton players.
Conclusion: The most important biomechanical variables affecting the speed of the shuttlecock launch for the smash hit skill is the moment the racket leaves the player’s side, which is the increase in the resultant acceleration of the racket. The most important biomechanical variables affecting the speed of the shuttlecock launch for the skill of crushing the maximum weighted moment is increasing the resultant displacement of the racket and achieving the maximum extension of the shoulder angle of the arm carrying the racket.
