The effect of a physical program on some physiological abilities and skill performance (defensive-offensive) among foil weapon players

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to prepare a physical program for foil weapon players and observe its effect on physical abilities, physiological abilities, and defensive-offensive skills. The researcher used the experimental method. The research sample was chosen intentionally from the players of the University of Wasit-Kut University College for foil weapon, numbering (20) players, and they were divided into (5) players to whom the exploratory experiment was applied and (15) players to whom the physical program was applied. One of the most important results reached by the researcher is that: The effectiveness of the physical program applied to foil weapon players in light of the research results and the percentage of change, and the effect of the physical program on foil weapon players from the physical aspect. One of the most important recommendations recommended by the researchers is that: Generalize the results of the current research to foil weapon coaches and players, and conduct similar studies in various games.
